Thank you so much. Mine just died and I was able to take the old battery out. I'm waiting on the sponge gasket I need to replace before I close it up. I put the charge on and it lit up so fingers crossed. Update coming in 2 days. Thanks a lot!

Planning to do same thing as both bateries are dead and also i want upgrade ssd , nice to see how you open also second part 😊 screen removal as is for shure sensitive. ( i try to give this task to laptop service center) and they said can be removed but need spare display as 90% proabibility will brake .. ADVICE ?

Alkohol and a nice warm it up with a hair dryer . It’s easier to remove the backing plate?

I think you have to be careful, because you are also warming up the battery then.

Just heat it up with a heat gun. The adhesive will soften much more effectively than using ipa

I replaced the battery on my keyboard the tablet battery is also gone . Now my laptop is boot ing then turns off then boots stays on a bit longer . Turns off and eventually stays on when press power and volume down . And just restart or rebooth but even after that sometimes then just turns off again
