For everyone feeding these to your guinea pigs, remember oats contain a lot of phosphorus which is a mineral that damages their urinary systems and raisins contain a lot of sugar, so make sure to feed these treats VERY sparingly, like every other week or more. Also, make the treats smaller than what's shown in the video to reduce the quantity of these unhealthy ingredients.

What a great little tutorial! I'd be tempted to add herbs to the treats for something a little different and less sugar. I'll for sure have to give these a try ! :D I did a baked basil apple piggie snack myself take a peak its another yummy homemade treat to try x katie

Thank you so much I just made them,I read the oats are not healthy so I used Pelots. I have a recipe that's really healthy for guinea pigs Guinea pig's favourite fruit Guinea pig's favourite vegetable Hay You can try two fruits and one vegetable or two vegetables and one fruit You can put hay if you want I hope this helps!

Feed them these things very sparingly, like once a week maybe, as they contain oats. They are heavy in carbs, which increase weight gain significantly, and phosphorus, which can damage their urinary system. There’s plenty of recipes for treats without oats, so try making some of those and see if they like them

Hey Imy! I recently (2 weeks ago) got a baby male guinea pig, hes about 1 1/2 months old. He doesnt eat all 1/4 cup of the pellets we gave him, but he loves his veggies! He doesnt eat many treats so I thought I will guve these a try! Do you know some way to get him to eat?
