Actually I've had a few good climbing piggies. A male who climbed up and out of his cage and I found out when I heard him excitedly grunting while running around when he realised there were girls. He would have been called Houdini if he hadn't already had a name(Kodiak aka Kody). We also had a little girl,Orla who could scale the side of the cage, and then use the lid like they were monkey bars! She was affectionately nicknamed Spiderpig. Still very much missed.

I have a bun and one of my long time besties for over 10 years has her lil piggies we send tiktoks to each other if I find a cute piggie like dindin piano sleeping I send it to her, and if she finds a cute bun vid she sends it back. we also DM photos of our fur children to each other XDD Thanks for this collab with Morgan it's nice to see that the small pet community is coming together to help future small pet owners with the info required to help them pick what is more suited to them.

Rabbits need a companion of their own species too! In Switzerland and Austria it is even prohibited by law to keep just one rabbit.

Yes, always get one or several companions for a rabbit, free roaming and unlimited human attention can never make up for the lack of a companion!

I have had both. Bunnies are a shock for most people - they’re always seen as docile…they’re SO NOT lol the person responsible for coming up with Bugs Bunnys personality DEFINITELY had a bunny - they’re sassy, smart, sneaky, and just generally mischievous. They’re so much fun but A LOT more work. They also don’t love cuddles as innately as piggies. Boy bunnies like mine (who was also a golden lop!) need to be neutered or they’ll spray - just like cats. Bunnies are easier to litter train than piggies and they’re a lot of fun but they also seek out stuff to destroy - say goodbye anything within their reach lol cables, wires, books, clothes, toys - you name it, they’ll chew it. I will say, though I loved having a bunny, pigs are my favorite - I love that they chat with you and want to snuggle a lot. Both are great but pigs a bit more fun in my eyes.

What a wonderful video,thank you for sharing a fun learning collaborating with rabbits and guinea pigs. I have had many bunnies when I was little years ago,but my dad really helped care and oh how times have changed in the care. I have learned a lot more about their care and while I love buns, my love is with guinea pigs---skinny guinea pigs as I have two already. I first fell in love with my Harriet and worked hard at getting her a friend who I found,Clementine. She's a rescue, they are like sisters and I am on disability and have a lot of time at home and schedule that works for their care. In the future, I do see myself rescuing more skinny guinea pigs . They are my heart!

I think they're both wonderful little animals, I clicked to see adorable piggies and buns. I'm mainly a piggy person, we've just 5 at the moment but at one point we had 16. We had a pair of bunnies a few years ago and they ruled our kitchen, I know they're generally quiet but ours used to honk in their excitement for their bedtime treat. They were so much fun 😊

Wow... this tore me up. Little did I know when I started watching, that I'd see Morgan. My little guy, Horton, a Holland Lop MUCH like Cinnabun, died two weeks ago. He'd just had his first annual wellness check the week before. So it had only been a year since they'd nuertured my little bubba... only a year and a half old. The morning was our usual morning. He'd done his usual Happy Horton binkies for breakfast... while I sang him the silly song Morgan sings to Cinnabun. "It's breakfast time, breakfast time... it's little bunny breakfast time." About an hour later... he had some kind of seizure and was gone within seconds. Seeing Morgan when I wasn't expecting to... a new round of tears for my poor little bubba. I've been researching guinea pigs because I can't even think about another bunny for a while but thought piggies might be something to try instead. Thank you... for collaborating with Morgan on this video. Now I know I've been watching the right channel.

Both are lovely animals, I used to have a dwarf lop and she was so cute. I'm getting a guinea next year, I can't wait till I snuggle up to it in bed. My rabbit used to lick my face and sleep with me in my bad. She never needed to be spayed, she was so tame. I love the way rabbits smell, rabbits and guinea pigs are so fluffy and soft.

I had tons of rabbits growing up, and Guinea pigs, and I found rabbits much easier to tame and take care of. Also, me and my siblings were allergic to Guinea pigs, but not rabbits. That does depend on the person, though. Rabbits also don’t seem to smell as bad as Guinea pigs. I like both, and I think it highly depends on preference. It was hard to sleep because of how loud our Guinea pigs were at night, but our rabbits were silent.

You should always get them a partner. Rabbits are communicating over ultrasound. ( So they are making sounds, we are just not able to hear it) Without another bunny you reduce their communication. He basically has no one to talk to.

Brilliant video! I have owned bith guinea pigs and rabbits but as I owned rabbits when I was really young (6 years old) I dont really remember owning them but now at 14, I own 4 guinea pigs but perhaps might try owning rabbits again in the future.

I’ve owned both rabbits and Guinea pigs and as I got them at a very young age with not much space they had to live outside, I don’t recommend it at all they were so healthy yet their lives were cut short due to heat stroke and foxes!! Edit: despite this they still all lived around 3-5 years I just wish they could’ve had more, I’m going to get 2 Guinea pigs very soon and they will live inside our home

When we were in our teens, my brother had rabbits and I had guinea pigs. I kept guinea pigs up until I got into my early 30's and bought at house. At that time, I adopted two cats. Next to cats, I think guinea pigs are the best pets.

I had my piggie pair have a litter. Agent Princess successfully gave birth to 5 piggies. One was dead and broke my heart, even up to this day. The remaining 4 were 50% 50%. I kept the two girls and gave the two boys to my work mom, who previously had cavies. Let me tell you; the birthing process and watching the lil fluff balls grow was so fulfilling! But also, it was worrying watching all the physical changes Agent Princess (the mama) had to go through. 😢 For a good 4 months, her hind leg's nerve was pinched, and she was limping everywhere. The vet's couldn't do anything about it. Still, I took care of while during the pregnancy and she knows that very well. She is the only one who consistently let's me pet her and do whatever I want. 🤣 The others only like me when I got food or treats

Yes! That is one thing I don't like about Morgan. She says she's home all the time, blah blah, but a human cannot take the place of another bun. It's SO important for their overall health and wellbeing. She is not a rabbit and cannot give a rabbit what another rabbit can give. She. Cannot.

What I just don’t agree on is spoiling your rabbit with a lot of „unnecessary“ things and, at the same time, depriving them of the most important thing: a bunny friend who speaks the same language as they do. I am heartbroken today. I had to seperate my male guinea pig from my female guinea pig... When I got them the ptshop said they are both girls... And one day I woke up and there was a tiny baby... A girl... The mom and male guinea pig started fighting non stop... And so I had to rehome the male guimea pig... I feel so bad and so guilty... But I know he is better off now... I just miss him so much😢
