I just started making these last week. Question how do we make sure it's not sticky. Mine didn't come out sticky but what if someone wears them for an outdoor event will it melt or get soft from the heat like the resin keychains
@DoctorFashion3 жыл бұрын
I wore these clips in 120-degree weather last week in Las Vegas, NV. I haven't had any issues and neither have the people I gifted them to. I usually do a 1:1 ratio with my mixing and I stick to that measurement for all my clips this size.

Heyy so I just came from your comment on a different epoxy video about resin keychains and you suggested to the creator of the video that they make spreadsheets and order forms to manage their orders. I’m a total beginner when coming to the business realm of things so is it possible that you make a video of how you organize orders with spreadsheets or just in general? I absolutely adore these hair clips by the way, and not to mention your hair!! Thank you so much!!

OMG !!! Just now seeing this message! But I will definitely make a video on how I stay organize with my businesses. I was planning on publishing one soon! I currently own 4+ businesses so this would be great content. Thanks for watching

Do we have to use a UV light to harden our clips?
@DoctorFashion2 жыл бұрын
No, you don’t :) I never use a UV LIGHT. however, the UV light can decrease the curing process .. which will allow it to dry and harden quicker

I am a beginner and I made it like 3 days ago. I stir the resin slowly for about 10 to 15 minutes. But bubbles are still there. And even after 24 hours, they are a little bit sticky and soft. Now, they are not sticky but still soft. What are the problems ?☹️
@aurielle77662 жыл бұрын
you stir for 10 minutes??? I stir for 1-2. Are you popping them with a lighter ?

I’m m having the hardest time to get my uv resin go work. It’s tacky as can be. Am I adding to much glitter?
@DoctorFashion2 жыл бұрын
how are you mixing your resin? it should be 1:1
@jfurner12 жыл бұрын
@@DoctorFashion I was using UV resin for the clips. I figured out it was my lamp. It wasn’t strong enough. I got a better lamp and my clips are perfect now 😍

Its been years and mine is still holding together. If you want to use a stronger glue other than a hot glue than you can try E6000
