I know this is an older video but I just wanted to say how easy and lovely this tutorial is. I've decided to go as a scarecrow this year and needed something cute that wouldn't break the bank. I used brown stiff felt and covered it in tiny scraps of burlap, glued a ribbon round it and embellished with a few faux sunflower. THE CUTEST! This was such a great tutorial and it's so universal!

I used the 26 inch cut-off piece from the cone traced on another color felt for a sash around the base of the cone.

It's called the "circle skirt template" in the shop, which is why it might be confusing. XD That was what I originally made it for, but it's really just a quarter-circle template, so it has other uses. whatthecraft.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=77
