DIY Hand Sanitizer: Grain Alcohol & Glycerin (WHO Formula)

HOW TO MAKE:
Use 84% of Grain Alcohol (95% or 190 proof), 4.2% of Hydrogen Peroxide and 1.45% of Glycerin (Glycerol)
To make 8 oz of Hand Sanitizer (US proportions):
1) 6.65 oz of Alcohol
2) 1/3 oz (10 ml) of Hydrogen Peroxide
3) 1/8 oz (2-3 ml) of Glycerin (Glycerol)
Mix thoroughly, and put into spray bottle or squeeze bottle.
You are done - stay safe!

Susan, 80% Gin may not be strong enough. If you use that, don't add water. You want to keep overall strength at 75% alcohol

I bought that last month brand new brand. I feel bad what we are going through that we have go into liquor stores to make this stuff. Then go back to find the liquor (alcohol) and there's none left because everybody found out about it and not being selfish or greedy it's just terrible we have to go to these extremes and then people can't get it. Try it straight up :) I also have a whole bottle (1.75L) left. When i was 20, i drank this stuff. It is rough. If you water it down, it will become vidka

Cant get grain alcohol could I use vodka or Bacardi instead got plenty of glycerine as I use it for my E-Liquid PG and Away

Vodka will not work for you. It's already diluted and has only 40% alcohol content. You need your hand sanitizer to have 75% alcohol or more. That's why you need either grain alcohol or rubbing alcohol which is above 90%

As long as there is 80% Ethanol in liquor. Gin or Volka or PGA ( PURE GRAIN ALCOHOL)

You can add essential oil. Just not too much. Few drops

Pretty much any glycerin ... Its for skin moisturizing ... Vegetable glycerin from Amazon is just fine: amzn.to/2xgPD5M Im sure college kids drink Everclear :)

Vaping store will GIVE or let you buy Vegetable Glycerine. Its what they use with FLAVOR to vape. Pure vegetable glycerin works just like aloe Vera...
