I'm John. I have lived off grid on my sustainable and frugal homestead for nearly 3 years now. I'm inviting you to join me for a one-on-one experience. It will be just like stopping by my homestead for a step by step break down of my most recent project. In this course I will be showing you how to build a DIY hay baler from scrap or new material. I often talk about food, water and shelter. Growing, harvesting and storing feed for your livestock just makes sense, if you're trying to build a sustainable homestead.

Thanks George. I'm grateful I have so much grass left to cut and bale up.

You could dumpster dive some packaging foam to make a shock-safe bracket to leave your computer for driving!

There you go! Once I install the sink and burners I'll know where to keep it more permanently and I might just strap it to the counter.

Thanks! I'm enjoying it. I enjoy being clean and organized. Today I should get my sink, burners, curtains, bedding and possibly my new queen bed. It will look sharp when it's set up.

Love that baler idea. I might have to give it a shot. Though for now it would just be for my chickens to play with lol. Great build on the van too. Looks great! I saw one of your videos mention apache county. I swear some of those shots look like you are down the road from me 😆 maybe I'll run into you sometime. Thanks for the great videos.

I hear that a lot. The baler has saved me a lot of money. The pigs and goats eat it up.

@Frugal Off Grid are you closer to concho or show low? 😄 I'm about halfway between. If that's what you meant by you hear that a lot. Supposed to be windy tomorrow, that should help dry up the road some. Mine gets kind of interesting when muddy. Have to take the kids to and from the bus stop every day so makes for good times.

Glad the van held up on your trip. I grew up in the country so know how it can be when like this 🫣 The van turned out very nice & looks very homey with the sink & stove 👍. You’ve prob answered this before but what is your next project? 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
