I really dig this model you've made. Never thought of a cement slab. Came out tops as far as I'm concerned

Nice simple build, very cool. After you apply the silicone bead simply wet your finger with water and apply very gentle pressure as you wipe the applied silicone into the desired seam. It pushes it into all the cracks and crevasses while also removing excess silicone. Wet your finger, wipe the silicone, wipe off the accumulated silicone from your finger, repeat. The water causes your finger to glide smoothly over the silicone. Just a tip from a contractor to make it easier and neater. This is how I was taught to apply calking/silicone for tile,wood trim, windows and doors...etc. I know the finished silicone will never be seen, but this is easier to get the finished bead and you don't need to wait for it to dry and no need to scrape it off.

When you were tryin to get the pvc out i was thinking, surely hes going to just point a blow torch at it for a few secs right...lol. or would that mess it up? Anyways Awesome video dude thanks. You got a new sub 👊💪😎

Then i was like, ok. Yeah i know he'll think of just using masking tape and cutting out around the nut with an xacto knife or just rip it off crudly instead of over complicating this part to finish ...as in like, wont have to spend all that time resurfacing the slab again....hahaha... normally i do shit the hard way, only to remember the obvious in hindsight, but it was a little too obvious to not forget....or was it....😂😂😂

Why not using 5mm iron plate, i think heavy enough.. You can welding the nut or make hole and welding the nut.
@dork3nergy3 жыл бұрын
I totally think that is the way to go. I even bought a tombstone welder to learn to weld. Then I started wondering if it's called a tombstone welder not because it's shaped like one but because that's where it will put you. If is screw up enough courage to use it, I'll definitively make one.
