I'm thinking of running a hot water line from the engine to camper shell and melt wax for heat storage. The idea is that at night the wax will liberate heat all night..

i done something similar with two cameras one looking down for reversing and the other as a rear view mirror, helps take the guess work out when you can see exactly what's behind you.

Not too tall, We mostly just do residential trees so there are some big old ones as well as smaller ones. I have done some climbing and am currently trying to learn how to e more efficient and up in trees so i can do more climbing

Get you 2 of those flag whips kids put on their bicycles, put one on each end of your front bumper & set them at the height of the HIGHEST part of your roof or a little lower, this way you DON'T have to watch a monitor, if the whip interferes then you know you can't go further
