Hi I have worked with polymer clay for well over 30 years and I can tell you now that unless you want jewellery that breaks and cracks easily you don’t want to listen to the manufacturers instructions. If you want unbreakable uncuttable jewellery cook it on a low heat for roughly 2 hours or so you will have to experiment a bit with the temperature to get it right. Having worked for a company many years ago who were having trouble with their clay breaking and being brittle. I decided to go home and experimented with temperatures on my oven. After a few experiments I discovered the right temperature to make the polymer clay in breakable the company were very amazed and very grateful.

Vanessa thank you very much for your advice. Yes, I have also seen many times that clay breaks but to avoid it I usually cook it at 130ºC. :-) Wow! Good! You are an old polymer clay artist!! Happy claying and greetings from Italy

Beautiful idea for beads, at first glance I thought they were diffuser beads where you add a drop of essential oil, in fact that would be a great idea, I presently made polymer oblong beads cut out with small metal cutters thick enough to put one hole through the middle, the color of the beads is a mint green with pearl polymer added when mixing, when baked, I added resin flowers, that fit the middle of the beads nicely 9 beads in total white pastel pink pastel green,, blue,and repeated to finish with white, added some swarovski clear ab , and little metal flower beads 6 beads 2 metal flower, and a small butterfly pendent bail,, and made a stretch bracelet, and matching pendent,, it looks so pretty. I will give your idea a try, but don't have a domer, so has to be flat, unless I can find something, that would work. Anyway thankyou for all your lovely videos, very inspiring👍🌺🌺🌹🌹

Superb, 've a doubt, will it not dry till we slowly finish one?
@moclay

No, if you use polymer clay it's not air dry, then till you don't bake it you will have a raw clay

what is the Vinavil that you use to join the pieces? Is it liquid polymer clay? Or glue?

it's white glue ... vinyl glue. It is the most common glue in the world :-) but is very strong after cooking.
