A pillow that screams to be handled. Beautiful texture and colors, I really like the multicolored yard with the pops of color. Thank you so much for sharing your design and process.

The sticky or adhesive fabric you put on the back reminds me of iron on interfacing. In the states, they sell them in different thickness and styles, but the one you used in the video definitely looks like the one I used to use on crochet projects to make them a little stiffer. This pillow is beautiful 😻

Gorgeous! Do you think you'll ever do a large wall-covering/wall art (e.g., 2 x 3 feet)? I'm thinking about if it's possible to do two smaller pieces and join them together, so that the frame doesn't have to be gigantic. I haven't found any videos on this yet though.

Nice project, beautiful yarn and very good explanation, thanks. How do you calculate how much yarn you’ll need before you start? 😊
@gnarbeljo89802 жыл бұрын
That's a very good question I've been wondering too. If you aren't busting a stash or have infinite amounts and choices of yarns at home, a way of estimating how much yarn you need for a project is key, especially if you order from afar, use expensive product etc. It also helps when planning designs for the yarns you have at home. I realize loop size effects this, as well as thickness of yarn, but there should be some way of making an estimation? Nobody ever covered this that I saw on yt.

Hi! I'm trying to figure out if I can use the tufting method you used to modify a garment, but I am not sure if the yarn will hold once it is worn if it is just looped through without a knot on each loop :( Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!!
@studioversie4 жыл бұрын
It should hold, as long as you use the right base cloth. But to be sure you could use the adhesive fabric on the back and wash it by hand, not in the machine.
