Hello Suj, Nice office at home. Table details were beautiful. good workmanship. The sitting table, lighting and others are a beautiful process. I enjoyed watching the study room renovation series. I'm looking forward to the other parts. You know, in my last two videos, I made myself a desk and nightstand. It's nice to work at home in a relaxed atmosphere. Take care of yourself. See you. Big greetings. Kind regards. Your friend Mehmet (the snippet from the sci-fi movie was fun)

Thanks a lot, Mehmet 🙏🏻. Yes I enjoyed your builds as well. Having a functional relaxed area makes a great difference to work. Glad you liked the study room renovation series. Thanks for watching and take care 👍😁

I too write software from home now, I wish I had a workspace as cosy looking as yours! I'm in the garage on a standing table I built myself (I can't sit and work because of a hip injury). I need to kick one of the kids out and convert one of their rooms :) You've done a beautiful job there.
@SujMenon3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris 😀 👍. Btw, didn't know you were a software guy, haha.. But too bad about that hip injury, that must be a real pain. At my place, it is now looking like I will be kicked out of the study! The kids are now doing rock paper scissors to see who can do their homework in there.

Beautiful, as usual. Or maybe you're getting better? Really love the look of that table! I'll have to look into that finish you used.
@SujMenon3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rob, lets just say that I had a few borrowed inspiration from other desks on Pinterest, and Grovemade, lol! Regarding the finish, OSMO is being raved about here. Any equivalent hardwax oil will do I guess. It feels really natural to touch.

Thanks bud 😁👍. I like the design as well. To make it easy for myself, I used that pre made oak worktop. Haha

Brilliant work Suj, really enjoyed the whole build. You went all out with the bling on this one mate. Looks so classy and comfortable. Be careful the wife may kick you out and make it her office….lol
@SujMenon3 жыл бұрын
Harki, thanks man. It was my personal fun build (that would get used daily) of 2021. And funny you said that. Everyone in the family, wants to work/study in that room now. Kids even do a rock-paper-scissors to see who can do their homework in there, lol 😆

Ive always wondered about these desks rasing and lowering as soon as I saw you comment you need something soft to stand on that quashed ever bothering with the expense of one, sod being on my feet all day to then come home and edit on my feet! Probably come in handy if the wife is short and youre tall 😂
@SujMenon3 жыл бұрын
haha Ben, true, standing for a long time at one place will eventually mess up your feet. But then you can always sit down, lol 😄

Great work! How thick is that desk? I have a bunch of old oak hardwood and I want to use it to make a new top for my desk (one day)
@SujMenon3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Grant 😊 👍. That was 40mm thick. It was actually heavy at 1.7m long.. If I had to do it again, I might probably stick with 28mm ones 😜🤣. I thought of making the top, on my own but its just too much work for me to get it level, after the glueup.. lol. Good luck 👍

Where is the lift up mechanism suj 🤔
@SujMenon2 жыл бұрын
The lift up mechanism is in the legs itself: kind of telescopic shape. If it's the controls that you are looking for, then those are on the left hand underside of the desktop 👍

Please teach me ,,,my dining table and 2 benches Pure Molave wood with me 10 yrs more already ,,,,,lots of hairlines and with cracked ,,,,little twisted table top,,, I wish it can be repaired ....i wish you could help me... Thank you,,,,,bro..
@SujMenon3 жыл бұрын
Its going to be difficult to comment without seeing it. Wood would have stabilised by now, so the best option is to sand it down, and then fill the cracks with thin super glue CA glue, and refinish it. Alternatively google at bow tie joint. Thats very effective against checks and cracks

Wow thank you for your advice and support,,ill try to find that glue ....i wish i could send the picture of my dining table to your messenger,,,,,,,again Thank you Suj
