I bought two of these. I have both of them on “Auto” mode. They either on all the time or work like “test” mode for few seconds only. Never got them to turn on for 3 or 10 minutes at a time with the “Auto” mode.

I can see the usefulness of the thin angle iron as a sled. It eliminates the need for a collet extension. However, I'm curious about using the unlevelled original piece as your levelling reference. Would it not be more reliable to build supports on either end that could ride on an established level surface?

I got some useful tips from this video. 1) Use dowels to eliminate the need for a biscuit tool, 2) Wedges form a parallel pressure face when used as shown. Keep up the good work Suj.

@Heavenseventeen yes it was. First I cleared the bricks with a wet rag, and then applied bitumen paint for that tackiness. Else, the flashing tape might just stick to dust on the bricks, and fall off 😁
