My 2 year old loves paint brush art in the bath. Shaving cream with a couple drops of food coloring, and paint brushes. We put the shaving cream in a muffin tin so it floats.

Love, love, love this idea! I have a bath hating, drawing on anything but paper loving, mess of an almost 3 year old. BTW- I'm southern as butterbeans, okra, grits and (real!) sweet tea and have never heard "crayon" pronounced as "crown" here in Alabama. It must be an inter-regional thing? I love the little intricacies of accents and dialects, so that's neat to know! :)

Add glow sticks and glow bracelets from the dollar store to the bath tub and turn out the lights! It makes bath time fun. The sticks and bracelets can be frozen for re-use.

My mom always used to mix food coloring with shaving cream to make different finger paints for the bathtub. It was really easy you just get like an old ice cube tray or one of those deviled egg plates with all the little divots and then you just make piles of shaving cream at a drop or two of food coloring to make it colored give it to your kid and bathtime and they can paint on the walls of the bath as much as they want. Warning if you do not wash it off right after bath time it may stain your tub

there are actually bath crayons that show up really well and aren't made out of soap. they were my favorite things (and still are) when it came to bath time. they're made crayola, and aren't terribly expensive, so I definitely suggest getting some. I feel as though using the soap doesn't allow the color to show as well, but bath crayons are quite vibrant.
