It does not affect the 2 lights up top. The wire is there as a bridge to power the 2 lights on top. Swapping the 194 bulb to led will be fine.

Manual climate control has 1 x 74 and 3 x 10MM neowedge bulbs.

sometimes, order some with sockets cause some of the oem sockets you'll have to bend the wires a little so they can connect

It's not a bulb you can replace on the 9thgen. The led chip is soldered onto the pcb board.

For i4 you need 3x t10 and 2 x t5.. for v6 you need 5x t10 and 1 x t5.

No it is the same for all i4.. There is a difference between v6 and i4.

Any suggestions for two T3 (74) & three T5 (194) blue LED's to match my static blue Alpine HU?. I have seen some out there that just don't seem bright enough... And not to be too picky, but not too dark of blue if there is a choice.

Your 2000 accord ex v6 uses: 5x T10 and 1 t5 bulb. The procedure is the same as the i4 for removing the cluster. The only difference is the amount of bulb you need to change out. check out the video below: 2001-2002 Honda Accord V6 Coupe Cluster LED

depends on i4 or v6. v6 has 5x t10 1 x t5 and i4 has 3xt10 and 2 xt5

I just did this on my 97 Accord SE. I WISH it was as simple as yours to take out. I had to go all the way back to the center console, undo the radio, undo the climate control bezel, then get to the gauge cluster. It was a BITCH! I also replaced the turn signal indicators,SRS,high beam,seat belt, and check engine light. (all #74's) After I got it all back together the damn check engine light would not go out! I thought I had an issue so I brought it to Pepboys and they checked it. Their computer returned ZERO codes! It turns out that the car's computer DOES NOT like the CEL lamp to be replaced with an LED! It will just stay lit! I replaced the CEL with a #74 bulb and it now it goes off.

The same goes for the gas light as well. If you replace the low gas indicator light on a 98-02 accord it will stay lite.

DIY: Car Modz interesting. I didn't change the gas light because it was some kind of tiny long skinny bulb with a rubber base that you press onto pegs. The shift indicators are all using those too, as well as some others. I'm not sure where you get led's for that style of lamp. I wonder if your car has those as well?

if you want the whole cluster to be a different light color, for example red...all you need to do is replace it with a red led same bulb T5 and ill will work just fine or is there something else to it? anyone?

03 accord comes with leds from the factory. They are soldered into the circuit board. You would have to desolder the old and solder in new leds.

The 08 Accord does not have interchangeable bulbs. It has leds that are soldered into the circuit board. The only way the change the color would be to desolder the stock led and solder in new ones. Correct, If you remove the bulb with the wires and do not place it back into the slot.. the 2 top light will not work. The 2 top bulbs are t5 or #74 bulb. But, since all your doing is changing the 194 from incandescent bulb to a led bulb and placing it back into the slot it will complete the power to the 2 bulbs up top. The 2 bulb up top will not work if you do not insert the 194 bulb back into the slot.
