Really cute 😍😍 btw it is even easyer to cut fur with a carpet knife (cut on the left side of the fabric). That way, you only cut the fabric and not the fur on the right side 😉

ooo thats what ive heard! will try it next time thank u!!
@rayneblackwater67786 жыл бұрын
the terms technically are right side and wrong side, for future reference also make sure it's a brand new blade. I work with food faux fur quite a bit and working with an old blade is a nightmare, even if it seems sharp.

Lol I barely ever find things that fit the way I want and you explain what to do so easily for a person like me, who’s only ever fixed a hoodie pocket seam, better understand what the hell I need to do to actually come up with something I’d wear in public vs ruin something and throwing away money cuz it came out like shit and I gave up. 😂😂 Kynna wanna invest in a sewing machine now. 🤗 THANKS GIRL! @SteamCraven6 жыл бұрын
As someone who has dealt a lot with faux fur I recommend using an x-acto/utility knife instead, scissors tend to cut the fur no matter how careful you are, with the knife you only cut the attached fabric. :) You can just put a self healing mat underneath if you have one or be extra careful to not go through and damage the working surface. The self-healing mats aren't that expensive and are a great long term investment too!
@sewtell6 жыл бұрын
ooo ive never tried that! sounds like a good idea! is it challenging to cut along curves though? will definitely test it out :)
@SteamCraven6 жыл бұрын
sew&tell slightly, but you could probably get away with a rotary cutter as well. Just make sure your cutting on the back, through the connected fabric and not straight down over the fur.
