I just got my supply of mouse traps and door stops before Christmas, so I'm ready to start building. I look forward to the fishing content, so keep up the great work!

A bobber stipple, small bead and a small swivel!! Same as we use for steelhead out west here. Gonna try these for sure. I need jaw jackers for one lake and a tip up for another…these are perfect!!

Like the tooth brush idea. Hope the weather turns for the better so you can go. River in flood and hot over here. Enjoyed the outtakes (lol) and thank you.

I guess you are in the middle of summer right now. Hopefully the river drops and you can get some fishing in. Sometimes the fishing over here is best when the water is up - it gets the fish moving and feeding. But an all out flood is usually not helpful. The weather is changing here - should be on the ice in 1 week. It will be nice to try a different fishing style for a few months. Thank you!

You linked this in the first iFish Pro video you made and referred me over here and holy crap that tooth brush idea! What a genius idea!

Thanks! I think it is really useful to have the ability to adjust the sensitivity based on your bait and the fish you are targeting.

@@BackroadsAngling yeah that’s a really genius idea, especially if you’re running a big bait in some current

I like your video on making these. One recommendation is to use static camera and not a gopro on your head. Makes the video jumpy and hard to see at times. Nice job

Well, I got to go out fishing this weekend and tried my version of the All-in-One Ice Fishing tip-up/hook-setter, but I didn't even get a bite on any of my 5 set ups I was fishing with. It was a very disappointing Burbot Bash Weekend at Flaming Gorge, out of 8 of us only one guy and his son caught any fish at all. I did catch a crawdad with a plastic crawdad and some chub meat. Just cold and tired is all I got.

Some days it happens like that! Usually these things have a way of balancing themselves out. So a bad day should be balanced by a really good day down the road. I hope!

So can the flag and hook set work at the same time?
@BackroadsAngling10 ай бұрын
No, not the way I have it set-up here. But I think you could put the flag under the bar of the mouse trap if you wanted to. The mouse trap makes a pretty loud sound when it sets which is a nice alarm for the bites.
