I was looking at a cheaper, less hassle way of doing these kind of crystals! It's really worth it for me to try this first, I hope it works! Thanks for sharing!

note that not all hot glue sticks can do this. I used flexible clear ones :-)

Thanks for the summary in the first minute! It's always frustrating to try and get an idea trying to scan through a video, instead of just seeing what's up quickly!! well done.

I just tried this crystal trick! Not all of them turned out as good (probably to do with the water temperature) but at least a third of the ones I made are gorgeous. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

I tend to think that hot glue is often overused in DIYs but this a very clever use! what happens if you color every faces of the faceted glue crystal then dip it in hot water a few times?

cedricfilm Hi cedric, Thank you! :-) i colored the bottom to prevent visible marker patterns. I haven’t tried it yet the way you suggested so Must be worth Trying! :-))

This is awesome and I really look forward to trying. I am also trying to figure out how to create this as a physically larger scale of crystals. Any thoughts on what could be used?
