This is absolutely amazing! I love how all the crystals turned out, it’s really beautiful!! I work with silicone and resins for a living, one of the reasons your dunk moulds didn’t cure (were gooey on the inside) is because some addition cure silicones are very picky and may not have liked the glossy spray paint you used or there was some thing on the crystal surface that it didn’t like, so it wouldn’t cure where it was touching (there are two types, addition cure and condensation cure and they each have their own pros and cons). And when you’re pouring any resin please wear a respirator and use it in a well ventilated area as most resin fumes are really horrible to breathe in! But I love your work so much and you really are an inspiration to me :)

Hello, I'm really glad I found your comment! My girlfriend would like to do some small jewelry projects with resin and we're not exactly sure what to order... Are there some resins and silicones you would recommend for moulding? Thanks so much in advance!
@imogenlyman31372 жыл бұрын
@@kingreinhold9905 it depends on what sort of things she wants to make, and depends on where abouts in the world you are from. to be on the safe side either go with an epoxy or polyurethane resin with a platinum cure silicone. but always best to ask other people who make jewellery as they will have more of an idea :)
@astarte662 жыл бұрын
Wow, I just learned more than I expected. Thanks for explaining why that wasn’t working. I had always wondered if cures would be effected the way you explained. Man you're an absolute GENIUS. By far one my favorite people on KZbin, besides Colin Furze. Freakin GORGEOUS work buddy. You hit it out the park with this one. There's many more people that I enjoy watching too. Like the ones who worked on this, 10Hundred, Jazza, Nerd Forge, and many others that have amazing talents as well.

That frame alone is absolutely gorgeous, and the finished product is phenomenally pretty! This is such a cool project and I'm glad to see it finally finished :)

This is absolutely stunning! I've never wanted a picture frame more in my life! All of the artwork in the painting and the amazing frame you did go together beautifully. It makes my heart happy to see people work together to create such an astonishing masterpiece.

I can relate to the "and now its night because I procrastinated, and now its the next day..." that's just part of being a perfectionist, sometimes its not the perfect time to start.

Wow, that turned out way more beautiful than I originally thought when looking at the drawing. Amazing job, Bobby - Just enough glamour to be eye catching and beautiful, but not so much to be distracting.

Same here I thought the gaps between the bubble sections and the bubble to crystal sections were too bare but the wood grain shows incredibly well with the stain in the bottom left and the areas between the bubbles and crystals have a simplistic yet eye-catching design which blends into eachother

I don't know what is more impressive the actual frame or bobby Duke's filming/ editing, but either way great job on both for part one and definitely the second part for this epic project. 🔥🤘🔥

Bobby, AMAZING. This is absolutely museum quality. I don't know where it's going or who gets it, but it should make the rounds at places like Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art and galleries & museums like it. I know I personally would pay to stand in front of it to look at it. Really an amazing job. Kudos to you, sir.

This is probably the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Hair on the back of my neck stood up at the reveal. Incredible collab. You brought it all together perfectly.

Breathtaking. It's so beautiful. So well executed. Stands alone on its own merits and yet enhances the artwork itself. I'm in awe. Congrats Bobby.

Dare I say Bobby’s frame may have been the best part of this colab. I hope he gets to do the frame for the other two 10 hun projects
