OMG I love this, I absolutely love thisssssssssssss! It's so amazing. You know what at the place where I live it's hard to buy reasonably-priced well-qualified stamps, and I'm a student so I don't have lots of money to afford them. So your video is like magic to me, seriously, like the light at the end of the tunel. Thank you so much. God bless you.

LOL Menage st tree... funny! I too, get goofy when I'm sleep deprived. I start giggling at my own unfunny jokes. I haven't tried this, as I'm not I to mixed media, or art journaling. But I can see how smaller versions would work on cards. So when we get moved into our own place again, I plan to make a couple of them. Right now I have no space for storage. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. Hugs,Jess

Thank you! I would have to agree about the detail glue gun. I bought one about a year ago and after the first couple of uses the tip fell off, while I was using it! I was so upset, I returned it to Joanns immediately. Then when I started making these stencils I wanted to try using a detail glue gun so I went and bought this brand again as it was the only one available. Hopefully this will last longer, we'll see!

for those that cant watch, use your glue gun to create the image you like, then use the flat side of it for stamping, and spray over the top, bumpy side for stencil use, etc. Then she used sharpie markers to embellish the flower and words on the page, outlining them and adding black to accentuate features. WHAT CAMERA DO YOU USE? GREAT CLOSE-UPS, =)

Hi. I loved this video. I've used hot glue in my mixed media, and I know how wonderful it can be. I had no idea it could be used for stamps/stencils. I will totally try this over my Thanksgiving break. BTW, I can see how my regular glue gun would be better. I must ask you about your music selection, if you don't mind. I just don't recognize all of the artists and I really enjoyed them. I love to further my craft and my music horizons. I think you did a very good job on this video.

@NurseTara04

Hmmm, no I didn't have a problem with them stamping. What type of acrylic paint are you using? Also are you adding the paint to the flat side and with a sponge? Not sure if those may be the issues but I'm trying to think of what I did. I also rolled the brayer over the stamp a couple times to make sure the image was transferred. Hope that helps.

jan sherer Silicone baking mats also work, and can be found near the metal baking sheets for cookies, or near the fancy cupcake supplies (like Wilton's). Hopefully you'll have better luck with the non-stick baking mats, although you could also do them on glass/ceramic, but only if it's a thick design. Best wishes, and happy crafting!

+Lorraina Allen I do apologize as the original video had me talking as well as music that from popular artists. KZbin removed all the audio so now I'm stuck with a short portion of music. I hope you were able to follow what I was doing despite the audio issues. Tfw!

+NurseTara04 That's ok Tara, no apology needed. Your video gave me tons of ideas and I now have a glue gun and sticks and time to play! Looks like i'm a couple or 3 yrs behind everyone else but better late than never eh!
