Enjoyed your video. I've been making hot glue art for years and I use a hand lotion on my glass. I rub it around till I can't see any lotion film on the glass and it works great. No slip and slide at all.

Hello and thank you for the video. Could I use wax paper with oil spray instead of glass? I am trying to make placmats for my table

My first thought was no, but if you are on the low setting of your glue gun, it might work. I always tell people to try it. Then you know if it will work or not. The glass is so you can see your pattern. Not sure if you could see it through the wax paper. If you are not using a pattern, a silicone mat would work too. God bless, Miriam Joy

this is awesome. i saw this on tv and tried it with wax paper and dish soap but found it difficult. i didnt have trouble for the strait lines but the smaller lines did give me a bit of grief. i cant wait to try it your way.....im considering trying other shapes like music notes.....have you done anything other than the snowflakes?

Yes, spray the glass first so the melted glue will not stick.

It does, I think it comes in about 6 colors. Just saw it at Walmart. It can be in the craft section and the paint department. So check both places. I know your craft stores carry it too. God bless, Miriam Joy
