I lived in Colorado a long time ago. I didn't do it, but talked to a lot of the Elk hunters who did a similar stove. Their complaint was that the burned out pretty fast.

Yes, this small of a stove only gave me about a 2 hour burn time. My next stove design will be bigger. Thank you for the comment 👍

I only get about 2 hours burn time in it, so it's not very efficient that way. I have used it now about 6 times, and it is still holding up, but it needs work. I am planning a new build soon. Going a little bigger.
