Exactly what i needed! Mine is in a spot that makes some of it hard to see and i had to search so deep to find this!

Fantastic! Could not find a straightforward answer anywhere else for this for my indirect water heater. Thanks so much.

Thank you. Tired of asking my husband to turn it down, now I'll do it myself!

Thank you. Very simply explained what I've been looking for on my boiler. I had to adjust for a child care inspection in my house for a business my wife is starting. Thank you and have a blessed New Year !

Thank you for posting. Your video hit all my needs: my wife pointed out that the dishes and clothes were not being cleaned properly by our appliances and the shower was not hot enough. This is a simple fix, easy to follow.

Thanks for posting this! I'm a new homeowner and could not find the thermostat on my boiler to adjust it. This was very helpful in locating it and making the proper adjustment.

Do you have a video for replacing this? Mine is about 13 yrs and no longer seems to accurately control the temp. Most days not hot enough even when set over 130s. Plus hot outside weather swings seems to throw temp off repeatedly.

Nobody would know where to find that thermostat would they? Mine just rotted out and I need a new one. There is no part number and I cant seem to find it anywhere

My indirect water heater with an aquastat just like this is set to 110°F but the temperature gauge on top says the inside is 140°F. We easily get scalded by the hot water faucets. Is something faulty here?

You did not mention the other setting, which is the little arm you see when you move it to the coldest setting.

So to adjust it seems that I have to pay the wheel up and then adjust? My boiler keeps overheating and I believe the temperature on the wheel is not accurate. Any advice?

what did you discover?

What if turning it doesn't really make a difference in the heat of the water?

Great vid. My tstat is in a tight space and hard to read..However: Just fyi Not All wives do laundry and wash dishes ---Some also like luxuriating in long hot baths after dealing with sexist men all day😀

Good video. However if my wife complains first you tell her to SHUT UP if it continues an open hand slap hard in the face should definitely get her to shut up. Just make sure you are drunk or drink some beer if she should call the police. The judge will just send you to some AA meetings. Cheers

Highly recommend calling a licensed professional.. you are endangering peoples lives having them play with sensors and control valves to gas and oil fired appliances. FYI people the water in the boiler is around 180 that instantly burns you seriously bad..watch videos of boilers exploding through the roof from the basement and landing two streets over and then consider that at your house

Disagree. This simple task is perfectly within safe limits of DIY.
@kennypowers4432 жыл бұрын
@@rickcowan7527 whatever you say people hold licenses for a reason. What licenses do you have and what state are you in? Different rules in different states. As a licensed service technician I wouldn't recommend any of my customers work on something that could lead to castrophic disaster such examples serious burns for you your family or loved ones in worst case death if you somehow either get burned or because you feel confident now because you adjusted something small maybe the relief valve starts dripping and someone throws a cap on it. Watch videos of boilers exploding and landing two streets over after traveling through the floors and roof of your home then decide you want to work on your own boiler. I'm not a mechanic my cars go to a shop. We have training and specialize in a trade for a reason. Not trying to be a downer but I've seen people get serious burns from heating systems including myself and i hold 4 licenses just be aware of what you're working on and the dangers before you tackle anything

@@kennypowers443 What the fuck are you talking about? My water heater exploding through the roof because I adjust the temp slightly? And yeah, go send your car to the shop... I'm sure that guy changing your oil has a special certification.
@kennypowers4432 жыл бұрын
Simple for most with common sense but remember there's always the ones who just go derrrrp crank that cunt all the way up...changing oil and doing plumbing are two completely different animals I dunno where you live but it took 5 years to get my license in my state of school and work
