DIY How to Build Trusses Yourself

The trusses you buy are pretty flimsy because of the nail plates, the only reason they work (IMO) is that the cuts are perfect. With gussets, nails and adhesive, these things are beefy and strong. If done correctly they're much stronger, and not to mention, much cheaper than manufactured trusses. The other reason to trace every piece every time as opposed to trying to cut by measurements is that when you're dealing with lumber of this length, every piece will be a different shape so your members need to be cut so that they fit with each other, not cut for numbers. Use Southern Yellow Pine only.

you’re knots are way to big, 45 cm is the breaking point on edges.

Yes this is essential. The extra grip you get from the increase in friction, as well as the added feedback you get with the increased foot sensitivity (ground slope and imperfections) really help you take your trusses to a new level.

I did laugh at your mom teaching you the 1/3 math - I thought your mom the Math she knows - oh wait, no, I taught college math - But I think if I had her number, I would make sure she buys your shoes - she is slacking as a parent.
