i too am looking for how to do the nose while crocheting the face...close to what I can tell it is on Row 13 as the 3sc in one st. Its dainty! If you wanted more of a nose I suppose you could make a dc cluster stitch instead of a 3sc.

Just do a puff stitch or (dc3tog in one stitch) it's what I was gonna do anyway before I saw the video figured it would look better and it does

what happens in rd 12? there are 36 sts in round 11 and 34 sts (3 of them made out of one) in round 13. So, if there is no decrease in rd 12 it should be a total of 38 not 34. Does anyone know where the 4 sts have gone?

Can you use the same technique with only 30 stitches or less? For example if your doll isn't that big and you want a smaller head, would it work?

you will need to crochet less rounds. I am wanting to do something similar. So after Round 3 (18sc) i do not make any more increases. Then i crochet 3 rounds of sc instead of the 5 she has llisted in Rnds 7 thru 11. In Rnd 12 i am going to try sc2tog twice, then 3sc in next st, sc2tog twice, sc in remaining sts (16 sc) so i hope this gives you an idea of what to do in the following rounds. Im pretty sure the 3sc in one st will be placed in the center of the 3 sc in one st from the previous round

pooupi80 I’m guessing for the nose there is a increase in stitches, and in the next row underneath it is decreased together in that spot. Sorry, sort of new so I don’t understand the terminology or wording.
