Thanks for the quick refresher and great tip on cutting the tulle. For smaller tutus, instead of using the cardboard when you are attaching the tulle, you can also put the elastic on your leg like a garter and that way you don't have to worry about it sliding around. It worked great when I made newborn tutus for my daughter's 1st photo shoot. Guess it is time to bust out the tulle for a Halloween inspired tutu!

Fun! I got all the tulle at Joanne's. The glitter tulle is a little messy but worth it in my opinion ;) We used light and dark turquoise and white glitter tulle...they take about an hour to make so you have time...good luck!! xx B

You could also just tie the ends of the elastic together, instead of using thread or a hot glue gun. That way, you could leave a little extra elastic on there in case your little girl still wants to wear this tutu when she's a little older and bigger.
