I love the use of on-hand materials. I'd probably put a piece of board onto the bottom of each drawer, but that's because I tend to overload mine, and need all the support they can get.

Need a shelf? Make your own! 😂 this is so great for your craft to double as a storage unit _AND_ a doll playset. I’m already sick of my clothes being disorganized in the pile of summer clothes & winter clothes. I’ve been making a shelf to separate the two sets by using our leftover boxes. Might as well use them instead of throwing away!

Froggy, if your sewing machine is heavy or doesn't slide easily, you can get thin flexible cutting mats from the Dollar Store to go under it in it's storage space. Kinda like a drawer with no sides. It'll slide in and out, carrying your sewing machine much more easily than reaching into a small space and lifting at an awkward angle. Plus it'll save your cardboard storage center from getting damaged from too much friction. Another option to strengthen and pretty up the shelves is adhesive shelf paper.

Another good way to store dolls is by buying cheap plastic trash bins for offices. They keep your dolls standing, protected from dust (mostly), and your shelves won't look cluttered. Plus you can easily label the outside.
