i think i just found the cure to my covid madness! im designing a dollhouse made out of shoeboxes and im simply obsessed with anything miniature. This channel is the cherry on my dilapidated but courageous cake! i def wanna try this out and will full heartedly give this channel all the credit it deserves!.....ill have to master juggling between my toddler, upcoming baby, and my hobby lol

I have an idea, Toya! What if you made a printable for the BACK of the cabinet door! It would be double the width of the cabinet door back, and be glued also to the cabinet flat front, and would show the stuff inside the cabinet on the shelves, like stacks of dishes or boxes of food. Then the door could swing open, because the one folded side of paper would act like a hinge! Edit: it could work for oven door too, if you used those flat cuttable magnets under the paper to hold the door shut. Maybe show a turkey or a cake baking in there.

Start small. Foam board, scrap paper, glue, &knife all sold at dollar tree. Start ith a table. Other videos show you how to use dish sponges to make couch. Have some fun & try it. Good luck!

The first KZbin video I ever watched on my own device was in 2nd grade, and I watched your How to Make A Doll Ice Palace video 6 years ago. Ever since for years I aspired to do the same and I was always crafting.. digging into my mother’s art supplies, dumping food and boxes to use the cardboard container, getting glue in the carpet.. etc. After a few years I started to watch the channel less but my creative fire never faded. I’m halfway through my freshman year and I’m happy to see this part of my life is still here, going and strong. :3 The nostalgia is real.

The kitchen reminds me of the apartment I use to live in during high school before moving to my current house. It looked nice(to me at least) but boy was the apartment small.

@@_.nxrthern1042 For one or two people but it was an upstairs apartment that only had one room that gets heat due to where the vent is(it's my mom's room), my room is technically a small walk in closet/storage room that didn't have much room due to my bed & a shelf thing across from it.(It was also hot in there in the summer) My brother decided to move in with us & we had so little room he had to sleep on a mattress in the living room. It was nice but we had to many people, the only good things were that the kitchen was spacy & we lived across the street from my high school, the library & most of town.(It's a small village) Besides a few issues it had some positives to it & we're grateful for having it until we were able to move into our current place.

I'm stocking up on images so I can start crafting my own doll spaces; and I've discovered that LTD Commodities magazine has great decor, kitchen appliances, rugs, and other accessories that can be doll-sized! We're always getting a new catalog in the mail, and often the items repeat, but they're a different size, but still very usable! I’m thinking for the hinge it could be toothpicks, the same way toothpicks are used for the doors in froggy’s other crafts. As for keeping the bedding from falling off, I’m not too sure, maybe reuse the blanket and little pillows as a throw blanket and decorative pillow on the couch when the bed is folded up.
