If you use thin floral wire and wrap it around the neck peg after the head is on you can fix the "bobble head syndrome" without taking the head off again. Love your work!

The new Caroline actually looks a lot more like the original Carmen from before Froggy changed her face and body shape, the one with the lighter skin and Steffie face mold. I think it's a nice nod to the original Carmen.

Yay!!!!!! Made to Move is great!!! Now as long as KZbin doesn't get all picky that you're using a "toy" body... One of the scariest moments for a doll collector - changing heads, and finding a matching skin tone! And bobblehead syndrome, eek! Next, I'd definitely try Summer and/or Cali since they're the primary characters! :D

The head may be less bobbly once it re-hardens. I've found that to be the case with Mattel heads that I've swapped via warming them.

Those Integrity dolls seem to have a slightly grey complexion compared to the Mattel spectrum. Reminds me of buying a supposedly African-American Jiaou body and it was no lie olive-green-grey. Or the Cy Girl with the lilac undertone to her oak brown. It's like only Mattel has Terrans QC-ing the skin colour. You're doing good to get this close. She's bobble-head because she's designed for a thicker neck. Her head opening is too big.

I customize a lot of Integrity Toys dolls, including rerooting them. Getting the head off is always nerve-wracking. I damaged the actual neck of the first one I did, but I managed to fix it with some heavy duty glue and some craft foam attached to the neck peg. It actually gave him a greater range of motion in his neck, but it still makes me be extra careful with him.

You can use rubber bands to stabilize the bottom of the neck peg and that totally fixes all cases of bobble head.

Removing Integrity Toys heads is easiest using a heating pad. Just wrap their head in it like a burrito and let it warm up. No risk of melting anything like with a hair dryer and no dealing with hot water. You do have to watch out a little for the eyelashes, but I've never had any ruined using this method :)
