Love this craft. NY apartments are quite small but also quite expensive 😅. I would bet this little craft apartment costs $1900/month in rent 😂😂

And a parisian apartment with such a beautiful view of The Eiffel Tower? Unimaginable price 😂
@DieezahArts3 жыл бұрын
A Parisian apartment with that view would cost an arm and a leg, no matter what the size is. Many Parisian apartments are in fact that small (between 9 and 20 square meters) with awfully expensive rents, which is why all those who can manage it, try the suburbs instead but it's not much better. The ones with views are often the smallest as they are frequently made out of remodelled maid rooms from back in the day when the buildings were mostly used as mansions for a single household each (before the French revolution). The ones that remained big/bigger are in the expensive neighborhoods where folks didn't rush to sell/remodel as early as the rest...

In human scale the livable area for this micro apartment is 6 feet by 7 feet, only 42 square feet. Are NY apartments really that small? Sort of reminds me of the Fifth Element movie and Bruce Willis's place, but his bed pulled out and shower changed to refrigerator

Funny you chose that particular brand for the refrigerator in the same appartment where you end-up using a Paris backdrop. Fun fact, that brand was so very popular in France back in the day (don't quote me on the dates but around the 50s/60s would be my guess, I'm a 70s baby) that it started being used as a regular noun by most French people by the time I was a kid (late 70s/80s/90s). While now you'd often hear the abbreviation "frigo" instead because almost everything end-up being shortened by younger generations compared to the original word used at first, there are still older people using "frigidaire" and folks my age and younger who still know what they mean by it, although the brand mostly vanished from French stores nationwide decades ago... Nice tiny apartment, by the way... Totally realistic for a Parisian setting... Happy New year to you and the entire family, including Bowie! Bonne année 2022 !

I rented an appartment in Paris, a decade ago. The shower was next to the kitchen countertop, a little wall separated the two, but it was one big room. Paris is an old and expensive city, so some people "cut" appartements to rent it to different people at a more expensive price. It's sad to see that heritage go, just for greed. That one is very nice in comparison to the one I was in.
