DIY | How To Make Giant Bubbles!

Supplies:
Dawn Liquid Dish Soap 8oz
Guar Gum 1Tbsp
Baking Powder 1Tbsp
Water 16 cups
Cotton String or Rope
2 Sticks
Washer
Tips:
The bubble solution will last for a couple weeks if you keep it covered
You can make any amount of solution as long as the water to soap ratio is 16:1
My wand used @ 85" of string but you can make yours longer for even bigger bubbles.

I did this for my grandson's birthday party. I was surprised how the adults loved the bubbles as much as the kids. Everybody loves bubbles. I made a 5 gal batch. Home Depot sells a cotton rope (off a spool) but you have to pull the nylon core from the rope first. You can scale up your wand (I used 2 - 6ft dowels) to make huge bubbles. Highly recommend for a fun time for all.

Ive been making my own "bubble juice" for years. Homemade wands too. This 65 year old Nahnah loves everthing about bubbles. The humidity outside is also a big factor in creating the best and biggest bubbles. You want atleast 60% humidity. Happy bubble therapy

Another summer fun I saw on Hallmark Home Channel. Squirt guns loaded with pre mixed water color paint. Next setup an area with tarp on wall, tape water color paper. Using the squirt guns, the family can make a master piece. Other option is to each have white tee shirts on and it's a Paint Squirt Party. Both great loads of fun and tons of laughter :-)

You CAN make slime with guar gum! (Barrel o slime) Recipie: -Water -Guar Gum -Borax+Water a.k.a borax solution (1 tsp borax+1cup warm/hot water) Optional: -Food coloring Instructions: 1. Add as much water as you want into a bowl (depending of how much you wanna make) 2. Add the guar gum into the water and mix until the water is a little bit more thick TIP: Add the guar gum little by little so it wont clump up, if there is some guar gum clumping up, just strain it into another bowl with a strainer 3. Add food coloring and mix 4. Make the borax solution 5. Add the borax solution to the guar gum mixture little by little until the slime forms 6. DONE! Store the slime into an air tight container. The slime will turn into a liquid after a day, but you can add more borax mixture to make it slime again! I hope you can make it Brooke! And you guys to! THANK YOU!
