Hello its Candy eye customs i can confirm that warming the head up with a heater and pushing the eye in is not a myth. Thats the method i have been using BUT i came up with a freaking ingenious idea on how to insert them easier :OOO you can cut around the seam on the bottom of the head by the neck plug, then take the body off and stick in the eyes and then once youre ready, glue the head back on and thats really cool because you're not making an extra seam- you're using the one thats already there :DD Havent tried this yet but i plan to with the next glass eye custom i make- but anyway thats a REALLY cool idea using the fish tank beads might have to look into that- you're glass eyes are always so like dynamic looking and cool i really like them-

A tip I think will help when cutting the eyes, get a blow dryer and blowdry the head to make the plastic softer! :D

12:39 It’s true, but you still have to be careful to not crack the head or something. It’s a small chance you will, but still. Also, to make the head less heavy, use paper instead of clay to keep the eyes in place!

Some suggestions: - Using a Dremel tool may be safer and easier for making the hole in the eye. - Using a heat gun or hair dryer will make the plastic softer, thus easier to cut.

btw if you heat up the lps head you CAN push the eye in (I make lps glass eye customs and I use a hair dryer and it works amazingly in my experiences)

Yes, if you heat up the face you can push eyes in the skull, but to make sure it all stays you still put something inside first like clay and all that
