Thanks for posting this video. I had my oil changed for my 2011 Toyota Rav 4. They said I need to replace my front struts b/c they are worn out and it's causing my front tires to wear out on the outside. He showed it to me but all he said was it was worn out and showed where the tires were worn out. My car has only 35,000 miles so I did not believe them so I did not let them do it. What is your recommendation on how to check for worn struts? I didn't see any leakage and I don't hear strange clicking noises or other noises when I drive.

I don't think struts make noise when they are worn out. Push. When you go over bumps of dips in the road does the car seem to bounce around or does it still handle like it's new? 35,000 miles sounds ridiculous. I've gone over 200,000 miles and my struts were still good.
