Thank you so much for sharing such helpful information and your beautiful work. For use as a planter, you could use a specialty drill bit known as a hole saw to create the drainage hole. It can be used with and standard power drill. They are made for a variety of materials so you would have to select one intended for stone, brick, and concrete. I would also like to cast my vote for a candle video with this mold. I love the larger candles.

I love this! I ordered the mold from your link and made it yesterday and am in love! When you say you use yours for succulents do you put a hole or holes in the bottom? Thank you for sharing all of your tips and tricks! I love your videos!

Thank you, Kelly! I didn't put any holes, but made sure to add some rocks or pebbles at the bottom to help the water drain out of the soil.

Can I ask what formula you are using for the cementall? I know you eyeball it when it comes to the water. I tried Jai's newest formula and didn't find it to be accurate for what I was using.

Hey! I love your videos and you have encouraged me to start making my own jars. ( currently paying between$2.58-$3.77 per cali jars I use now) I'm running into a problem though. I like offering a variety of sizes. I'm looking into using modern craft molds 3in,4in,6in. they list the wax fill weight for 3in and 4 in but not 6in. how much wax (or water weight) can you fit in these? ALSO, I really want to use Canadian silicone molds but they don't list ANY final product fill weights.... what can you tell me about their molds? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I would reach out to Canadian and ask for the fill weights. They have the BEST customer service. So helpful and nice.

I do seal mine, but I have seen lots of others say they don't seal their planters.

Great question. I’m not too sure what would be the best way to go about doing that. Maybe adding something to the bottom of the pot (top of the mold) before pouring so that the concrete stays out of that area.

Why titanium dioxide are you using is it necessary ??? I'm using white cement so is it necessary or what else I need to add in white cement so that I can use it for candle. Thankyou

It's not necessary. I just like to add it to help lighten the color of cement-all.
