My dad had made something similar in the past. The problem with this is that it's not yet efficient. You still need electricity to make hydrogen by electrolysis. If it were all that happy go lucky we would have replaced all other energy sources. We still need other fuels to produce our energy. We still need coal, oil and gas to make electricity. Nonetheless, this guy's giving me tons of ideas I have to try ...I gotta go check my dad's garage. Keep up the good work!

Waterfuel Maybe you heard about the "Hydrostar" hydrogen generator " from years ago. That unit was used to generate hydrogen gas under car hood to assist gasoline. The wire coil contained was to generate magnetic field to increase energy level of gaseous ions. The schematic diagram is similar to Meyer circuit, but no mention of coil High Volts to cell plates- even though it could be connected as flyback reverse high volts. That Hydrostar Manual circuit and tech data is available to purchase on internet. Meyer's tech engineer fled to Canada, after Stan Meyer was poisoned, and filed his Chambers Patent for His company Xogen, which is the Hydrostar. He knew all about Meyer's work. Meyer cell was BEST hydrogen generator , which was at 3 levels. proof of concept voltage separation of water cell, the multiple ss pipe cells that earlier ran VW engine, and then the final combination cell processor/ high volts , EGR nitrogen compound, and water injector that was lastly applied to VW engine. The 2 tech manuals have to be purchased - Water Fuel Cell Dealership manual, and The Birth Of New Technology. They also have some of the Patents and patent numbers list. The Patents time period has run out. (AC to heat water low energy + DC volts with diode to make Hydrogen.) Meyer's brother did not renew them. Public domain. The Patents were also filed in Canada which also has extra information not in US version . Some Patents can be read online, or purchased from interlibrary loan. Meyer Cell was a 1.5KV step-up transformer to electrodes at low current. Secondary was resistance magnet wire. Two charging coils are wound together- bifilar. Pulse on and off DC burst mode 3 seconds on, 7 seconds off. Just tap water or distilled water. VOLTAGE pressure - separates water. Not electrolysis. No chemicals. Multiple cells are parallel not a single cell. Water capacitor (cell) frequency = pulser power frequency. Get the 2 Water Fuel Cell Dealer Manuals for technical data.

I think it would be a great idea for people who live in sunny regions to use solar electricity to make hydrogen. The idea has been around for at least 40 years but the follow through is slow. The catalyst in the electrolyzer has been prohibitively expensive from what I have read which prevents it being done on an industrial scale.
