This turned out so amazing Christina! I would never know the difference between your piece and the $3500 one! I'm sure your son loves it!

Love seeing a woman being hands-on. I feel like so often we see women coming up with the design, but not doing the work themselves. No hate of course, since woodworking is dangerous and takes a bit of time to learn; and it takes a particular person to have they eye for style. Not every everyone who can work a bandsaw has the vision needed to make a statement piece. But it’s really nice to see a project made start to finish by a woman like this. I took a wood shop class in college because it was required to complete a credit for another art class, and although I only did it because it was required, I have to say I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. If I had the space for more furniture in my house I would love to take a stab at flipping it myself. I’m sure your videos have inspired other women to try it out themselves as well. 😊

Love how that turned out. I am new to this and have two dressers I am currently working on. One I sanded completely down to raw wood. The other I don’t wanna do that. Your videos are showing me how to paint without having g to totally strip. Glad I found your videos. I am totally nervous about these lol. The dressers are for my kids rooms wish me luck

Beautiful! Adding the trim and changing the hardware, along with the paint wash, transformed this very plain basic IKEA dresser piece to a high end looking piece! Great “hack”/“dupe”!💜

You did a great job, Christina!! You made this look so much better and more expensive!! You do amazing work and you are definitely my favorite flipper! So I guess IKEA dressers do not come with a backer board? That's odd right? I guess anyone could just add one. You made me laugh when you said your son is crazy, lol. Children can be hard on furniture and such. Have a wonderful day!!
@ChristinaMuscari2 жыл бұрын
They do have one. I kept it off during the makeover in case I needed to adjust any of the tracks with the added trim. I put it on after I was finished but left that part out. Nice catch.

Hi Christina, I’m trying to get a natural pine wood finish on a console table but when I topcoated it with my clear topcoat varnish, it went orange after it dried. Do you know if zinsser bin prime sealer stain killer would in stopping orange colour coming through. I just want raw wood finish. Can you please help by any chance? ☺️

amazing job. The finishing touches, like spraying the handles, never thought about that. very talented. one thing though, the draws don't seem to be aligned, I'm guessing this is purely an IKEA furniture thing?

Where do all you furniture flippers sell your pieces? They can't all be sold on FB Marketplace. The competition would be tremendous and impossible to turn a profit.

I know some sell on Etsy and do shipping but all of mine are exclusively sold on FB marketplace or to friends.
