Love seeing a woman being hands-on. I feel like so often we see women coming up with the design, but not doing the work themselves. No hate of course, since woodworking is dangerous and takes a bit of time to learn; and it takes a particular person to have they eye for style. Not every everyone who can work a bandsaw has the vision needed to make a statement piece. But it’s really nice to see a project made start to finish by a woman like this. I took a wood shop class in college because it was required to complete a credit for another art class, and although I only did it because it was required, I have to say I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. If I had the space for more furniture in my house I would love to take a stab at flipping it myself. I’m sure your videos have inspired other women to try it out themselves as well. 😊

Love how that turned out. I am new to this and have two dressers I am currently working on. One I sanded completely down to raw wood. The other I don’t wanna do that. They do have one. I kept it off during the makeover in case I needed to adjust any of the tracks with the added trim. I put it on after I was finished but left that part out. Nice catch.

Hi Christina, I’m trying to get a natural pine wood finish on a console table but when I topcoated it with my clear topcoat varnish, it went orange after it dried. Do you know if zinsser bin prime sealer stain killer would in stopping orange colour coming through. I just want raw wood finish. Can you please help by any chance? ☺️
