I don't really care about my skin color unless it's obviously some bizarre color that indicates bad health such as blue, green, or yellow. All I want is an even and smooth skin tone throughout my face and body without discolorizations, acne scars, lesions and enlarged pores.

I love fair skin and when I was younger I wanted it so much. I still find it lovely, but I will keep my brown skin. I will soon be 40 and will need my my darker skin to ward off aging and camoflauge flaws that come with it. I honestly believe that you should be able to do whatever you want to do as long as you don't harm other people and yourself. In my case, I would love to get the injection to lighten my skin as I currently live in Malaysia where its hot and humid 24/7. Having to apply sunscreen every 4 hours and also trying to find the right sunscreen that actually works end up costing the same as getting glutathione injections which not only protect your skin from sun damage, but it also helps with variety of other diseases. I see it as an advantage specifically for diseases prevention. I think this topic is quite similar to plastic surgery and also weight loss surgery where they get bad reputation because there are people who gets them for cosmetics reason rather than the true health benefits of it.
@theecologist102 жыл бұрын
But surely lighter skin is more sensitive to sun damage?
@97edlin2 жыл бұрын
@@theecologist10 I have melasma where I have to wear expensive, high quality and specific sunblocks for melasma that cost $30 or more and only getting 50ml at most. I'm only in my middle 20's so wearing it everyday and applying it every 3 hours, end up costing the same with getting glutathione injections or more. I also take other things to help with my melasma, like collagen supplement with astaxanthin, lutein & pearl powder to combat it. Just wearing sunblock actually doesn't really do much with aging and other skin problems prevention. Sunblock has its pros and cons too because certain sunblock makes my skin itchy too.

Never felt better. Get my doctor check up and she said I'm healthy and all my organs are as fit as a fiddle. Just avoid sun as much as possible, use sunscreen, eat healthy. and make sure you get vit c and other vitamins/nutirents with your shots. Can use kojic acid soap too. This is what works for me anyway. Everyone is different. Some people use glutathione shots and it doesn't do shit for them.

I believe that you should be allowed to lighten your skin if you choose to. Not everyone is happy being the color they are born with. However, DIY kits should not exist for ANY life altering decisions. You have NO idea if what you are getting is the right stuff, and if it isn't contaminated with other chemicals that can harm your body. Instead of doing it yourself, without any research into bio chemistry or pharmaceuticals, you should have a professional do it for you. Get a professional who knows exactly what they are doing, and the chance of any risk is lessened. Not entirely gone, though. Everything comes with a side effect, and nothing is perfect. Also, if this were to happen, before you were to get skin lightening injections you would HAVE to be screened. Lightening your skin because you're afraid of being black is NOT a reason to lighten your skin. You should only lighten your skin because you want to look a certain way, not because you're AFRAID of looking another way. Fear is never the answer.

While studies have shown oral and topical glutathione are safe for dietary supplementation and skin lightening, there have been no rigorous, large-scale studies on the use of an intravenous form for skin lightening or on its long-term side effects. Most of the evidence glutathione proponents point to comes from individual case reports or anecdotal experiences.

My doctor recomend this cream and now the same doctr said to me to use interoxin cream. And I dont beleive her any more. What should I do?
@MarieLouiseK907 жыл бұрын
Sarah Rana like I said I have not used it for skin lightening and only randomly when my inflammation got bad so I wouldn't know about it's lightening benefits as I understand you need to get weekly or bi-weekly ones to start maybe seeing effects. Mine was solely in the use of treatment of my illness and not cosmetic. A Google search for skin lightening advice shows up a site called "Skincare talk" you should probably refer to that for advice. Harsh chemicals and non-natural things to whiten your skin only gives temporary results and if you have more melanin you will probably experience more side effects than a fairer skinned person who won't have to the use chemicals as long and in the same dosage as you. I would reccomend thinking about why you want to do that and if it is worth it...... I think the dangers and side effects are worse than the supposed benefit you desire. Anyways from what I have read going the natural route seems safer and with less possibility of error. 8 weeks of exfoliation then introducing a lightening agent so it is absorbed better into your skin and using a sunblock forever basically to not risk redarkening. Wearing sunblock and having sensitive skin seems not fun to me, but do as you wish.

People in the comment section are confused. White people tan because they think tanning makes them look healthier. Pale, to them, makes people look ill. They don't tan to be black, middle eastern or Indian. However, blacks and Indians bleach because they have a racial inferiority complex and think to be attractive you need to be white. Newsflash: if you're ugly no amount of skin bleaching will make you pretty. Hot people come in all colours. I'm genuinely just attracted to good looking people from Paul Walker to Tyrese Gibson. If you're good looking skin colour is not going to make you look more or less attractive. Instead of bleaching use that money to get counselling

oh lord, you can clearly tell sonia has done this to herself, she looks really gray, and her skin looks a bit thin. Honestly using extreme procedures to change your skin color is a sort of a psychological issue, yea they can disguise it all they want by saying oh its for patches and hyperpigmentation, such bullshit. we need to fix society's unhealthy obsession with tanning or lightening then go around the issue and make profit out of people's insecurities which may have occured due to childhood experiences. Lets make sure we raise our kids, the next generation the right way, teach them to be healthy , about morals and humanity, and not to focus on such a minute made up standard of beauty.
@tatianav.88986 жыл бұрын
Please don't judge. Don't know about the injection, but a so called brightened cream saved my face. I say so called because my face looks tanner now, not white or gray. I'm only responding because of this comment you made "a psychological issue, yea they can disguise it all they want by saying oh its for patches and hyperpigmentation, such bullshit" _ Not all the time it's related to a skin color issue or mental issue. After giving birth to my son, I started having those big bumps all over my face. Went to see dermatologist who prescribed me a cream named Tazorac (yes, I still remember the name). That cream was so strong that every time I applied it to my face, I would feel like my face was burning. To me the cream prescribed was not effective at all. Beside making my face look tired and oily all the time, I didn't see a big difference after two months of using it. Then, one day a friend of mine introduced me to a brightened cream. That cream was so effective that on the first week of using it, I could already feel the difference. Skin felt so rejuvenated and not so oily, and bumps were drying. I have a light brown complexion, now if one is of a darker complexion, I would not advise the person to use one because 1st I'm not a doctor and 2nd I don't know how it will react to a darker shade. As I mentioned earlier, the brand I use gives me a beautiful tan. Not sure why or maybe it's because I only use it at night, before bed. During the day I use an Aveeno face cream($15.00 or $18.00 depends on which store I go to, smh). Either you believe my story or not, please don't let your high moral standard make you become a cynical person, which I don't think you. All love xo!

Im indian a woc and no way in hell am i going to change myself for some assholes who think i should be white enough for their viewing pleasure. Seriously appreciate yourself the way you are and change something which is not natural but only bcoz of an accident. I am never gonna support anybody who does surgeries or this crap just to maintain the ego that they should look beautiful as hell. Everyone is right the way they are created. But if u want to spend ur hard earned money buying shit like this go ahead and inject chemicals all u want but its all gonna come at a cost in the future.

Why do people do it if the effect is only temporary?
@isabellegonzales85357 жыл бұрын
the effect is only temporary if you dont keep it up. if you get it done, wear sun screen, limit time in the sun and wear clothes to protect you in the sun. even if you don't mind your natural skin color coming back, you still should do it, bc since the melatonin is low, you have a higher risk of skin cancer.

Who in their right mind would buy needles and inject them into their body FROM THE INTERNET. GO TO A DOCTOR!! omg
@stepheniedomingo90892 жыл бұрын
It's because they no longer have a budget for doctors or nurse to inject the IV. Apparently the treatment needs to administered for life, other wise natural color will return 🤷
