Is the amber at the bottom always on it looks better off in the front

I'm having the toughest time installing these. I cannot get the light strips to come on. I even used a 9 volt battery to ensure good connections and they light up. When I hook to the brown and black wires off of the amber bulb (which works) they do not light up. Thoughts?

Don’t use the provided splicers, use crimp connectors

Drl light (day time running light) they should be on but I’m assuming they are off or don’t have the bulb in all the way so it won’t distract from viewing the function of the other lights

DRL requires the truck to be out of park and for it to be light out there is a sensor on the dash. Unless you wire them to be on with headlights etc

Because the brown wire provides the constant power and the blue wire gives it the signal for flashing
