DIY | Japanisches Marmorpapier selber machen | Suminagashi | The Art of Japanese Marbling

Marmorieren mit Tusche ist die älteste Form Buntpapiere herzustellen. Das japanische Wort ‚Suminagashi‘ bedeutet ‚schwebende Tusche‘ und wie man mit dieser Technik wunderschöne Marmorpapiere herstellt, zeige ich Euch in diesem Video. Es ist sehr einfach, so dass man gleich beim ersten Mal wunderschöne Ergebnisse erzielt.

An Materialien brauchst Du:
• Boku-Undo Tusche (japanische Tusche)
• Flache Wanne
• Pinsel mit Spitze (ideal Japanpinsel für Kalligraphie)
• Japanpapier oder anderes wenig geleimtes Papier
• Optional Ochsengalle

Marbling with ink is one of the oldest forms to make colored paper. The Japanese word ‘Suminagashi’ means ‘floating ink’ and in this video I will show you how to make beautiful marbled papier using this technique!
I hope you got some inspiration to try it out yourself!
You will need:
• Boku-Undo ink (Japanese ink)
• Shallow plastic tub
• Brush with a tip (ideal Japanese calligraphy brushes)
• Japanese paper or any kind of paper that isn’t too much sized
• Optional: ox gall

Liebe Bärbel, vielen lieben Dank, das freut mich sehr! Suminagashi ist wirklich eine einfache Technik, die mit reinem Wasser als Trägerflüssigkeit auskommt und somit anders als andere Marmoriertechniken keine bestimmte Flüssigkeit benötigt, damit die Farbe 'schwimmen' kann. Somit hat man auch keine Vorbereitungszeit, sondern kann gleich loslegen. Wichtig ist hier das Papier und da empfehle ich dünnes Japanpapier wie z.B. Linolblock Japanpapier von Vang. Liebe Heike, vielen lieben Dank für Deinen netten Kommentar. Das mit Nagellack und Ostereiern habe ich zwar schon gesehen, aber selbst nie ausprobiert. Die Effekte mit Tusche sind nicht so brilliant wie es mit Lacken oder Ölfarben möglich ist, sondern subtiler, haben aber den Vorteil, dass es sehr sauber zugeht. @@sabineannies Ich habe diese Materialien zuhause, weil ich über lange Zeit immer wieder verschiedene Dinge ausprobiert habe und eine große Sammlerin bin. Wir haben auch viel Platz zum Lagern zuhause, d.h. bei mir gibt es viele Kisten, die vollgepackt mit Materialien sind. Das größte Problem ist das Finden, weil ich nicht immer ganz so ordentlich bin. HI Erika! You did it again!!!!!! Another amazing craft that is totally different than all your previous projects.... all this variety just totally blows my mind. This looks like a very fun project.... my husband and I did a venetian paper marbling workshop in a paper museum a few years back and we both had a wonderful time. I see that you used your paper to cover books, pencils and a clip board too. I love it all!!!

@@HomeMade_AT I love beautiful paper and stationary, pens and pencils, and art supplies in general. The paper workshop we went to provided all the materials so it was really an easy and stress free experience. For a future video, do you think you would do a paper making project?

@@minicouples Oh yes, it's on my agenda. I have done so a long time ago using old newspaper or cardboard, coloring and sizing it so you can use it for your own stationary! It's fun and you get quite hooked. Have you tried making your own paper as well?
