The Jeep JKU Rear Seat Delete has been something I wanted to do for a long time. Getting tired of setting up and taking down tents. This will make things easier just to get up and go.

One of the best things about my LG was the rear seat came out without any tools. Left usable tie down points in it's abcense as well. I of course never thought of sleeping in the back of it back then. Rear seat turned into the garage seating until I sold her. The fancier they get, the more shit to remove. Cool build man. I hear ya about the tent, I have a Gazelle tent, but still, set up time for everything else takes a while...

Gazelle tents are awesome, my problem is most times I’m just out for the night and packing a tent is a lot of work

Talkin' about a camper-van or something similar. Have you considered building up a Chevy Suburban (maybe the last of the square-bodies) into your ultimate go anywhere, do anything, offroading / camping / hunting / fishing / whatever vehicle? The 1991 with the barn-door back as a 4x4 would be a dream to build up

I say go for the 4x4 van, get a 3/4 or 1 ton, tow the TJ - sell the shit show, and have a great nights sleep - that might be my long game, keep my TJ, and get a van

Great video 🎉, made me laugh with the (( gate keeper bolt )) lmao there is always a last last bolt or screw only discovered later 😅 i love your thinking on just doing the legs which will be plenty of support. Id think maybe a quick access latch for driver / passenger directly behind to carry a Just In Case Boom Boom stick 🤔 for when not being able to avoid those lovely mostly peaceful cities & their mostly peaceful enlightened residents & or bears 😀😉 enjoy your rig & days off.

Dont do it buddy no camper van.. just get a Ersa minor top for your jeep with the built in tent.. it replaces your regular top on your jeep, when tent is down you hardly even know its up there.. expensive yea but what you save in gas and expense of a camper van , it will pay for itself👍

the price of the welder doubled but i guarantee the workers wages at Esab didnt double. thats called corporate greed-flation. sounds like you need to sell your 2 Jeep wranglers and get a Gladiator instead of a damn Chevy.
