This time, I made a router mortising jig that sets centering with a single touch. This jig can be used easily and conveniently instead of expensive equipment (FESTOOL domino, mortise machine, etc.).

Fantastic level of craftsmanship, apart from the pocket hole screws (which I hate with a passion)😂 What a fantastic jig, especially the self centring mechanism (took me a while to see what how it worked)... ingenious, thanks for sharing 👍 A suggestion if I may, adjustable templates with fingers in the slots which slide side to side, meaning one template could create multiple width mortises!

Thanks. It's as simple as making an extra large slot out of 5mm acrylic. I can simply make it using the templates I have already made.

What kind of saw blade do use to make those groves ??? Cuz it seems really smooth.

I'm not sure if I understood the question correctly, but the mortising cutter blade I used for the router is an end mill up & down cut 12mm bit for a cnc machine.

@@carpentak thanks for the reply, great design, I've been looking at building something much simpler but just found out you can buy a router bit to make rockler beadlock tenons so I think their $90cad jig and $60 tenon bit are the best route for me but great jig, excellent detail features and craftsmanship.
