Another informative vid. Thanks for making. Insulating the concrete floor sounds like a pain in the a$$. I have a similar concrete floor. Do you think you can just moisture seal the concrete with a roller and a bucket of sealer?

It won’t be bad to insulate the floor. Plan is to frame in with wood laying flat face down then fill in with styrofoam. Still unsure on outside insulation, because money is a factor. Don’t have any haha

@@mrectordiesel Instead of insulating how about adding a halogen light or two to the inside of the kiln for more heat and using a temp/ thermostat controller like the link below to kick the lights on and off as needed. That’s in the plan to do, I got the foam insulation yesterday for the floor and more door sealant. I believe I’m going to run a 2nd test load. Couple videos will be coming up this week
