@@dcwoodworks hay thanks for replying. It is a small house so the kitchen is shared with the dining table. Technically the dining table is my island 🤣😂. Hopefully one day I can expand a house and have a proper dining room and free up space for an island. I could build a small one but small and tall worries me that I will tilt it over with my clumsiness. However I think I should analyze if my kitchen could be remodel into a more practical design.

The recommended worktop overhang for a breakfast bar is 300mm. This overhang is needed to be able to get chairs and your legs underneath it, to be able to sit comfortably. The smallest width an island with breakfast bar seating for 2 people can be, is between 1000mm & 1200mm wide. This is because you need between 500mm & 600mm for each seat under the breakfast bar

@davidbryanwoodworksandmore3 жыл бұрын
@@eriktyson7696 Erik it’s too bad that you think I’m trying to finesse people to my channel. Sadly this is why I was hesitant to answer the question. If I try to help then it’s because I want viewers not because I what to advise. I wouldn’t have said anything but it’s the only question she didn’t answer. If you see carefully. Out of all the questions other than comments based on her being a girl, it wasn’t answered. And you know what, my comment helped several people. All were so grateful that I helped them. If my helping them makes them want to learn from my channel the correct way to build cabinetry and woodwork then that’s just a bonus for everyone. Don’t you think. This is a huge platform, people like me are putting meaningful content out to the world, and trying to help should be able to answer questions on anywhere without people like you insinuating it’s to get subs. Ridiculous

@@davidbryanwoodworksandmore thats exactly what I'm saying "you want viewers ". You say that you were hesitant, yet I only decided to say something after noticing you do the same exact thing several times. The only question she didn't answer? That's RIDICULOUS, so please stop. Those same questions were already asked by other viewers and answered by her. If it was jusy about answering the questions, you would have told how you would have done it minus criticizing hurt work and kept it moving. But no, you plugged your channel and discredited her work. If thats your thing its cool, but don't be mad because I called you out on it.

@@dcwoodworks I sure did. I’ve watched probably 8/9 so far. I’m very impressed by your skill set. The floating dock was amazing! It actually gave me the confidence to try and build a deck using that same method.
