It looks fantastic! Just a tip, if you’re going to paint dark colours, use a darker grey coloured primer. It requires fewer coats and will save you money. It can also be used under reds and other dark colours as well.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm only mentioning it in case it will help others. I painted my bathroom cabinets a satin brown that looks like a milk chocolate candy bar after it dried. I got the primer tinted the exact same color. I didn't want white to show through if I dinked something a little too hard.

When you’re painting I’ve found that “ Frog tape “ ( which is green ) has proven to be much better for me! It may or may not work for you. I hope it helps for future reference. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Looks good. My personal preference would have been 'all' in the cabinets in ebony. Chris spent on just the right thing, 'and' saved you the work of contacting all that counter space. I like how you contrasted the dark to light, and light to dark hardware too.

Just stubbled on here. I recently finished remodeling my kitchen. Since its in the center of my house with No natural lighting it was very dark. I went all white cabs....i regret that after 6months. The bottom cabs constantly have to be cleaned from spills and such. I wish i had done the 2 tone as you did for easy-to-use. Love the deco. ❤. I love the fast pace of your video and quick info without needless chatter.

My husband and I used to professionally paint cabinets and furniture for a living and I agree with your process! Just would have chosen some different paint and sanded the cabinets a bit deeper but I'm so thankful you are not just going for the 'no sanding, no priming, chalk paint bullshit' good job!

Hi, thank you 🤗 They sell the stones by square foot. The ones we were looking at were from $60 to $95 a square foot. The one we chose was the $65. As we have a lot of counter top space and they also did the same stones in the bathroom it came up to $6000 for everything.
