Absolutely beautiful!!! I love it. You did an awesome job. Those counter tops are gorgeous. I've been thinking about repainting my lower cabinets a darker color but I was nervous because our wood floors are dark. Seeing this made me realize it would work. Now I just need to convince my husband. Fabulous job Megan and it only took 25 minutes 🤣🤣🤣

This looks amazing. I just spent the weekend painting my lower cabinets black as well and added peel n stick back splash tiles. Temporary refresh until I can do a full gut remodel. Really made everything feel so fresh❤️

The butcher block can be very affordable if you buy it unfinished & stain and seal it yourself 😊

Yes! It’s so hard to gauge the time it takes based on KZbin videos because they are snapshot clips that are so sped up

One addition I would recommend is remote control LED Lights for under the upper cupboards. They are very inexpensive from Amazon! Just click the remote & they are either on or off as needed! It's a must for countertop use, especially at night! I enjoyed your Video. Thanks for all the Tips, bc we are getting ready to redo our Oak Kitchen & Bathroom cupboards! We need all the help we can get! 😊

The cabinets are very work intensive, we stripped out our cabinets to white and it took 4 days to sue the primer coats waiting to dry and two coats of paint. I have a small kitchen but it was well worth it the kitchen is so bright. We also painted all the 3 bathroom cabinets. Because of this when I visited my sister in Tennessee I painted her cabinets in kitchen and bathroom. Also her brick fireplace white, it turned out so amazing she lives in a manufactured home and painting the dark cabinets and the fireplace her living space is so bright and fresh. You did an awesome job👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️

What an amazing transformation. When you mentioned upper white and lower black cabinets I was like I don't know, then it all came together. The butcher block counter tops are stunning and the matching open shelves WOW. This is an amazing kitchen makeover. As always, you did a fantastic job.

Having the butchers block countertops really helped to warm everything up & not make it such an obvious stark contrast between the white & black

Alot of work, when you said 4 or 5wks all I could think was 4 or 5 months or more, I did refinish my kitchen some years back & it took forever, I didn't even redo cabinets either just counter walls & floors. Thanks! The shelves were actually butcher blocker countertops. They were not properly crafted or hung for their intended use & I would not recommend replicating that. 😳
