I do that. And use aged Kombucha on my face at least 3 days a week. I also use aged Kombucha for a natural hairspray, it’s wonderful. I do many other other things as well❣️ ♥️💗♥️ Katy

I used to cut up into pieces and compose it. Recently I added kombucha liquid and blend the SCOBY pellicle into baking a soda bread. Use kombucha tea instead of vinegar or lemon juice to make the buttermilk. Just remember to adjust the liquid in recipe as the pellicle still "leaks" out liquid.

I'm not sure, but I think that the activated charcoal is not a good idea as it will absorb all the other nutrients. I think activated charcoal is best used without anything else as they cancel the other out. Maybe they leave bacteria alone but they definitely absorb nutrients

You could add chia seeds and let it sit for a bit. Both thickens and adds scrub.

I would use salt rather than sugar. As the sugar is much sharper than salt it can actually cut your face too much

I've got a question, how come my kombucha batch isn't clear when I'm done my first ferment? It's cloudy and I can't really see through it. Should I first ferment longer or shorter or does the cloudyness of the batch not matter?

The cloudiness actually comes from the yeast in your brew. It means you're doing something right! You need the yeast working with the bacteria to ferment your tea.
