You can use FABRIC STIFFENER that can be purchased at a fabric or craft store. It can be applied with a brush. If you want to use the white glue, you can diluted the glue with some water and dip the lace in the bowl until saturated.

So Sorry to hear of your loss. This is a lovely way to bemember her. They do make fabric stiffener that you can also put the clothes in the washing machine, and it won't wash away. When you use it on clothes......hmmm.......

Just wanted to say, as a person who occasionally crochets lace like that, a possible alternatve to using tons of glue is spray starch! Also, when buying clasps for the bracelet, I personally say to do yourself a favor and buy a magnetic clasp.

Just a little tip, try mixing your glue with corn starch. It should work even better. 😊

isn't there a fabric stiffer that when applied on fabric and dried, the fabric is rock hard. For my wedding my aunt used it to make lace fans. it worked great! just one coat works.
