This is beautiful! Maybe it’s a stupid question but the only step that I don’t quite understand is how does the waist seam become fully enclosed with no raw edges? Because every waist seam I’ve done always has the edges on the inside of the dress. Sometimes I struggle to visualize things when they need to be turned inside out or right side out. I really hope my sewing skills can become good enough to make this for my wedding one day!

Just a tip - Joann's takes fabric back! Keep receipt and buy EXTRA when doing special occasion sewing ESPECIALLY bridal. You can have extra for mistakes, repairs or accessories...,

Do you take fabric donations? When my elderly neighbor moved away I inherited a ton of her fabric. There is no way I could use it all and I want to give at least some of it to someone I know has use for it.
