I use the lamination sheets from Daiso. They aren't quit as thick as the Scotch brand and it's easier for me to punch. 11 sheets for 1.50 makes it so much cheaper to do all kinds of projects!!

Thank you for this fantastic idea. I tried making one without the paper. You're right about the stability of the dashboard. Also, making a tab was difficult. You're ideas was awesome. Using paper for stability and a box at the top for a tab. I can't wait to make some.

Somehow I never saw this video. I just did this the other day and used the tabs I got from wild u. Now watching to see what other ideas you can give me. I also used card stock to make it a little sturdier even before lamination

Great ideas!!! How about using florals at the top for tabs....or florals going off the page at top or side then laminate and trim...or florals as dashboards....how about using teacher grade lists for budgeting...hourly sheets...possiblities are endless!!!!!!

Do you cut your lamination sheet for each project? I usually wait and use 1 sheet for multiple, then cut them apart

3mil! Anything thicker, the happy planner punch wont punch

I notice you use 3mil laminating pouches. I have heard preference for 5mil for taking in and out of happy planner. Do you find these flimsy? Do they last well?

What mil laminate sheet did you use?

To avoid punching into the useful space of a project I always keep about an extra half inch of laminate on the side to be punched. In this way I don't lose any useful space.

I purposefully punch into the paper to ensure stability! if you only punch the laminate then it wont be sturdy for long

How can I hit like, like, like? The budget dashboard is a huge timesaver! I’m always returning to my balance sheets to see what got paid, when? Husband and I have different pay periods and multiple accounts, so bill paying is multiple times a month. it can be a bugger bear. I’m Thankful for Quicken but this dashboard to literally check bills off is brilliant, especially if I post date the payments online! That would be an additional volume for me.
