DIY Lamp Parts - Cord Stay

Manage the path of your color cord with our sleek Cord Stay. Whether you want to create a straight line or structure a zig-zag design, the stay is simple to install and looks great too! In our studio, we like to use it to secure the cord running from a sconce or swag pendant. It also is very effective as a minimalistic swag hook in the ceiling for low-weight fixtures.
The Cord Stay comes with a compatible wood screw as well as a hex key to adjust the anti-spin set screw if needed. We recommend using a drywall anchor (not included) if not mounting the Cord Stay into a stud or using the stay to bear any weight beyond the placement of a cord.

You can just screw this in without an anchor to drywall??
